Total Length: 7.625”
Blade Length: 3.75”
Grip Thickness: 0.75”
This one-of-a-kind handmade knife pairs the bold geometry of a tanto-inspired blade with a highly detailed segmented burl handle, creating a piece that is every bit as striking in the hand as it is on display.
The blade is crafted from Copper San Mai and 1080 Damascus steel produced by Iron Beak Forge, featuring dramatic layered steel with exposed copper running through the pattern. The angular tanto-inspired profile gives the knife a strong, distinctive silhouette while allowing the natural character of the forged steel to remain front and center.
The handle is individually built from black-dyed black ash burl and green-dyed redwood burl, segmented with contrasting spalted maple and finished over a coordinating liner. Three individually selected mosaic pins complete the handle: a Lone Star, howling wolf, and flying eagle, giving the knife a distinctly Western character without overpowering the natural burl and steel.
Every contour, transition, and finish is completed by hand, making this a truly individual piece. The natural figure of the burl, forged Damascus pattern, copper layers, and mosaic details ensure there will never be another knife exactly like it.
