Total Length: 6.1”
Total Blade Length: 2.4”
Grip Width: 0.75”
Compact, clean, and built for someone who prefers a smaller fixed blade, this handmade skinning knife pairs traditional layered Damascus with the natural warmth and figure of California redwood.
The blade was produced by Iron Beak Forge from layered 1080 steel, 15N20, and nickel, creating a high-contrast Damascus pattern that follows the broad curve of the blade. Dense layers sweep around the cutting profile and converge toward the tip, giving this compact blade considerably more visual depth than its size might suggest.
Its small skinner profile features a broad belly and sweeping cutting edge while maintaining compact proportions for comfortable carry and controlled work.
The handle is crafted from California redwood, selected for its natural reddish-brown coloration and distinctive figure. Rather than adding decorative materials or elaborate hardware, the handle is finished with three simple stainless steel pins, keeping the design clean and allowing the Damascus and natural wood to remain the focus.
Each knife is individually fitted, shaped, and finished by hand. Variations in the natural redwood grain and forged Damascus pattern make this a truly one-of-a-kind finished piece.
A fitted Kydex sheath is included.

This knife is made from high-carbon steel and requires routine care to prevent rust and corrosion. Carbon steel is not stainless steel and may naturally develop a patina over time.
Keep the blade clean, completely dry, and lightly oiled when not in use. Do not leave the knife wet, submerged in water, or exposed to prolonged moisture. After use, clean and thoroughly dry the blade before returning it to its sheath. Apply a thin coat of appropriate knife or mineral oil regularly, particularly before storage.
Rust, corrosion, staining, or patina that develops after delivery as a result of use, moisture exposure, storage conditions, or lack of maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our warranty.
Continued care and maintenance after delivery are the responsibility of the owner.
