Total Length: 6.125”
Blade Length: 2.5”
Grip Width: 0.75”
Compact, lightweight, and built around a highly functional skinning profile, this one-of-a-kind handmade knife pairs traditional layered Damascus steel with richly figured Amboyna burl.
The blade was produced by Iron Beak Forge from layers of 1080 steel, 15N20, and nickel. The forged construction creates a bold, flowing Damascus pattern that follows the broad curve of the blade, giving this smaller knife plenty of visual character without sacrificing its clean, practical design.
Its compact skinner profile features a broad belly and sweeping cutting edge designed for controlled work while keeping the overall knife small and easy to carry. The shorter handle and blade make this an excellent choice for someone who prefers a more compact fixed blade rather than a full-sized hunting knife.
The handle is crafted from Amboyna burl, prized for its dense figure, swirling grain, and naturally rich amber, red, and brown coloration. Rather than competing with that figure, the handle is finished with simple stainless steel pins, allowing the Amboyna and Damascus to remain the stars of the design.
Each knife is individually fitted, shaped, and finished by hand, and the natural burl figure and forged Damascus pattern ensure this finished knife is truly one of a kind.
A fitted Kydex sheath is included.

This knife is made from high-carbon steel and requires routine care to prevent rust and corrosion. Carbon steel is not stainless steel and may naturally develop a patina over time.
Keep the blade clean, completely dry, and lightly oiled when not in use. Do not leave the knife wet, submerged in water, or exposed to prolonged moisture. After use, clean and thoroughly dry the blade before returning it to its sheath. Apply a thin coat of appropriate knife or mineral oil regularly, particularly before storage.
Rust, corrosion, staining, or patina that develops after delivery as a result of use, moisture exposure, storage conditions, or lack of maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our warranty.
Continued care and maintenance after delivery are the responsibility of the owner.
