Total Length: 6.1”
Blade Length: 2.5”
Grip Thickness: 0.6”
This one-of-a-kind handmade skinning knife combines forged Damascus steel with a piece of automotive history.
The compact skinning blade is crafted from 1080, 15N20, and nickel Damascus produced by Iron Beak Forge. Its sweeping profile provides a generous curved cutting edge in a smaller, easy-to-handle design, while the bold Damascus pattern gives each side of the blade its own distinctive character.
The handle is made from genuine Jeep Fordite, a material created from accumulated layers of automotive paint that were repeatedly sprayed and cured during the manufacturing process. Once cut and shaped, those layers reveal flowing bands of color and pattern that can never be precisely reproduced. The result is a handle with a story literally built into its layers.
Three decorative mosaic pins complete the design, featuring mountain motifs and a Lone Star, complementing the knife's outdoor character while adding small details to discover throughout the handle.
Compact, highly individual, and entirely handmade, this knife brings together traditional blade craftsmanship and an unconventional piece of automotive history.
