Handmade 1080 & 15N20 Damascus Fixed Blade Knife – Segmented Geometric Black Ash Inlay Handle

$349.99

Total Length: 7.6”

Blade Length: 3.5”

Grip Thickness: 0.6”

This one-of-a-kind handmade fixed blade brings together two different forms of pattern work: hand-forged Damascus steel and traditional segmented geometric woodworking.

The blade is crafted from 1080 and 15N20 Damascus steel forged by Iron Beak Forge, producing a bold, high-contrast pattern that travels across the entire blade. Its compact fixed-blade profile and sweeping edge give the steel plenty of uninterrupted surface area to display the individual character created during the forging process.

The handle is where woodworking takes center stage. Natural black ash and black-dyed black ash are individually cut and assembled using a traditional segmented geometric inlay technique, creating an intricate woven pattern that flows through the length of the handle. Fine padauk veneer separates the contrasting sections, adding thin red accents that define the geometry without competing with the natural figure of the wood.

Simple stainless steel pins were intentionally selected to keep the hardware understated, allowing the Damascus pattern and intricate woodwork to remain the focal points of the knife.

Each component is shaped, fitted, and finished by hand. Between the individual Damascus pattern and hand-assembled geometric handle, this is a genuinely one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be exactly duplicated.

⚠️ Carbon Steel Care & Maintenance

This knife is made from high-carbon steel and requires routine care to prevent rust and corrosion. Carbon steel is not stainless steel and may naturally develop a patina over time.

Keep the blade clean, completely dry, and lightly oiled when not in use. Do not leave the knife wet, submerged in water, or exposed to prolonged moisture. After use, clean and thoroughly dry the blade before returning it to its sheath. Apply a thin coat of appropriate knife or mineral oil regularly, particularly before storage.

Rust, corrosion, staining, or patina that develops after delivery as a result of use, moisture exposure, storage conditions, or lack of maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our warranty.

Continued care and maintenance after delivery are the responsibility of the owner.
