Total Length: 6.9”
Blade Length: 2.8”
Grip Thickness: 0.6”
Built around contrast rather than excess, this one-of-a-kind handmade hunting knife pairs an exceptionally tight Damascus core with a natural spalted maple handle and subtle Texas detailing.
The blade was produced by Iron Beak Forge using a complex layered construction. At its center is an extremely tight-patterned Damascus core of 1080 and 15N20 steel, surrounded by a contrasting copper layer and 1080 steel jacket.
The fine layers of the Damascus core create a dense pattern along the cutting portion of the blade, while the copper forms a warm dividing line between the core and darker outer jacket. Portions of the blade retain a darker forged appearance, creating an intentionally rugged contrast against the polished edge and exposed copper.
The hunting profile features a broad belly and compact proportions suited to a versatile fixed-blade hunter.
The handle is crafted from spalted maple, allowing the natural coloration, dark spalting lines, and individual character of the wood to remain the focus. Rather than adding multiple materials, this handle lets a single piece of figured wood complement the more complex construction of the blade.
Three decorative pins complete the design, including two mosaic pins and a Lone Star mosaic pin for a subtle Texas signature.
Each knife is individually shaped and finished by hand and includes a fitted Kydex sheath.

This knife is made from high-carbon steel and requires routine care to prevent rust and corrosion. Carbon steel is not stainless steel and may naturally develop a patina over time.
Keep the blade clean, completely dry, and lightly oiled when not in use. Do not leave the knife wet, submerged in water, or exposed to prolonged moisture. After use, clean and thoroughly dry the blade before returning it to its sheath. Apply a thin coat of appropriate knife or mineral oil regularly, particularly before storage.
Rust, corrosion, staining, or patina that develops after delivery as a result of use, moisture exposure, storage conditions, or lack of maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our warranty.
Continued care and maintenance after delivery are the responsibility of the owner.
