Total Length: 7.7”
Blade Length: 3.6”
Grip Thickness: .75”
This one-of-a-kind handmade hunting knife brings layered forged steel and intricate traditional woodworking together in a design where the patterns continue from blade to handle.
The blade was produced by Iron Beak Forge with a layered 1080 and 15N20 core surrounded by a 1080 steel and copper Damascus jacket. The construction creates two distinct areas of pattern within the same blade, with fine contrasting layers through the core and warm copper lines flowing through the outer jacket.
The handle is individually constructed using a segmented geometric inlay technique, combining richly figured amboyna burl with curly spalted maple. Each section is precisely cut and assembled to create the repeating geometric pattern that travels through the handle rather than simply stacking the woods into straight segments.
The natural spalting and curl of the maple provide lighter movement against the deep reds and browns of the amboyna, creating a geometric design that still preserves the individual character of both wood species.
Three decorative pins complete the handle, including two mosaic pins and a Lone Star mosaic pin, adding fine details without distracting from the woodwork.
Every element is individually fitted, shaped, and finished by hand, making the finished pattern and natural figure unique to this knife.
A fitted Kydex sheath is included.

This knife is made from high-carbon steel and requires routine care to prevent rust and corrosion. Carbon steel is not stainless steel and may naturally develop a patina over time.
Keep the blade clean, completely dry, and lightly oiled when not in use. Do not leave the knife wet, submerged in water, or exposed to prolonged moisture. After use, clean and thoroughly dry the blade before returning it to its sheath. Apply a thin coat of appropriate knife or mineral oil regularly, particularly before storage.
Rust, corrosion, staining, or patina that develops after delivery as a result of use, moisture exposure, storage conditions, or lack of maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our warranty.
Continued care and maintenance after delivery are the responsibility of the owner.
