Built for those who like their knives to evolve with them, this one-of-a-kind tanto-inspired hunting knife combines a bold forged blade with a completely customizable handle system.
The blade was produced by Iron Beak Forge from mono-steel 15N20 with a contrasting copper layer, creating a clean, understated blade face interrupted by a striking copper line along the lower portion of the blade. Its angular, tanto-inspired profile gives the knife a strong point and distinctive silhouette while maintaining the proportions of a practical fixed-blade hunting knife.
The handle is crafted from stabilized, multi-colored dark-dyed box elder burl, showcasing fiery reds, deep browns, blacks, and natural burl figure that complement the exposed copper in the blade.
Unlike our traditionally permanently mounted knife scales, this knife features removable handle scales secured with mechanical fasteners. The scales can be removed and replaced, allowing the owner to change the look and feel of the knife over time. Swap to a different wood species, color, pattern, or custom set without replacing the knife itself.
That makes this piece more than a finished knife. It provides a platform for future customization, whether you want to change its appearance years down the road or build a collection of interchangeable handle sets.
A fitted Kydex sheath is included.

CUSTOMIZABLE HANDLE SYSTEM
The handle scales on this knife are removable, allowing them to be replaced with another compatible set in the future. Want a completely different wood, color, or style down the road? New scales can be made for this knife without replacing the blade.
This knife is made from high-carbon steel and requires routine care to prevent rust and corrosion. Carbon steel is not stainless steel and may naturally develop a patina over time.
To protect your blade:
Keep the blade clean, dry, and lightly oiled when not in use.
Do not leave the knife wet, submerged in water, or exposed to prolonged moisture.
After use, wipe the blade clean and dry it thoroughly before returning it to the sheath.
Apply a thin coat of appropriate knife or mineral oil regularly, particularly before storage.
Do not store the knife wet or damp inside its Kydex sheath.
Rust, corrosion, staining, or patina that develops after delivery as a result of use, moisture exposure, storage conditions, or lack of maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our warranty.
Your knife will arrive properly finished and ready for use. Continued care and maintenance after delivery are the responsibility of the owner.
